Encouraging students to explore career goals, gain transferable and field-specific skills, and grow as professionals.
The Sophomore Internship Program began in August 2017 with a charitable donation from Duke Energy Group to the IU Foundation for internships at IUPUI. Under the directorship of Campus Career and Advising Services, the first full group of 10 interns started in the 2017–18 academic year. Beginning in 2019, Citizens Energy Group partnered with SIP to offer more internship opportunities for IUPUI students.
